I’m turned around, upside down. Growing up too fast. I want to slow down, help me stop and rest. I don’t mean to be a burden. I just want to get out of this corn maze. I don’t want to be in an eternal haze. I need your help. I don’t want to be stuck in the past. Come fly me away. Take me by the waist and tell me everything’s okay. Be there when I wake up. And promise me I’m not lost. don’t let me go upside down, turn me around. Straighten me out. Its not a high cost. I’m not asking for love, I’m asking for help. Will you be my dove?
